FAMILY FOUNDATIONS · FOR TEENS & THEIR FAMILIES
Building focus and function together.
Support for ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD teens and the parents or caregivers beside them. Your teen builds real-world skills for school and life, and you learn how to back them up without taking over.
Does this sound like your house?
- Your teen means to start the assignment. Then it's 11 p.m.
- Every reminder turns into an argument.
- They're capable, but planning, starting and finishing don't come easily.
- You're doing more of their organizing than you'd like, and you both know it.
- They're exhausted from keeping up, and so are you.
YOUR TEEN LEADS, YOU SUPPORT
Strategies stick when teens help build them
Teens are far more likely to use a system they helped design. Your teen chooses goals that matter to them, and we build supports around those goals.
At the same time, you learn how to step back from reminders and nagging, and step in with structure that actually helps. That leaves more room in your relationship for the good stuff.
What we can work on
You choose the goals. These are some of the most common places people start.
Getting started on schoolwork
Breaking assignments into first steps a teen can actually begin.
Planning and time
Due dates, calendars and weekly plans that don’t fall apart by Wednesday.
Mornings and getting out the door
Routines your teen designs, so you’re not the alarm clock.
Screens and everything else
Habits around phones and games that your teen helps set.
Speaking up at school
Explaining their needs and asking teachers for the supports that help.
From nagging to systems
Shifting reminders from you to tools, so home feels calmer.
HOW IT WORKS
Small steps, tested in real life
1

A free 20-minute video call. Your teen can join, or you can start on your own.
2
Setting goals together
Your teen names what matters to them, and we agree on how sessions will work.
3
Small experiments
We build a plan, test it during the week and see what actually happens.
4
Adjust and build
We keep what works, change what doesn’t and add the next goal.
